Half Dollar Coins are just as fun to seek out and collect as more common circulating coins. Designed by John R. Sinnock, Franklin Half Dollars feature founding father Benjamin Franklin on the obverse and the Liberty Bell on the reverse. The Franklin Half Dollar was struck in 90% silver by the United States Mint from 1948-1963.
